Macrame Plant Hanger

In this beginner macrame class, you will learn some basic knots and leave with a finished hanger for your beloved plant.  All supplies for the hanger are included (macrame cord and beads), but you'll have to bring your own pot.  

It's helpful if the plant is not yet in the pot, but we can still make it work if the plant is in the pot.  Plastic or ceramic are fine.  Any pot will do.  Pots with rounded bottoms look great as hanging plants because the macrame wraps around the bottom nicely.  Keep in mind the weight of the pot, and whether you have a good place to anchor something heavy, or if a lightweight pot would work better for your space.
