Learn to knit a Christmas stocking! The pet motifs are optional and could be left off or switched out for other imagery. This stocking is knit exactly like a real sock, so if you want to learn to knit socks, this would a great place to start. Learn all the steps while making a lower commitment piece (it is only one sock instead of a pair, and the yarn is much thicker which makes it go more quickly). Techniques covered include working in the round with circular needles, changing colors, making a heel flap and gusset, picking up stitches, and finishing with the kitchener stitch. If you choose the optional images, you will learn to add those using the duplicate stitch, which is an alternative method for creating designs without using stranded colorwork. This four-part class finishes up just in time for Christmas.

Cost: $ 50.00
Learn to knit your first pair of mittens! These are made in a medium DK weight yarn. Pick something classic or something with lots of colors like ours, whatever speaks to you! Pattern used is The World's Simplest Mittens by Tin Can Knits.

Learn to knit your first pair of socks! We will use the No Fear Shorty Sock pattern in this four-part sock knitting class. Each session will be spaced two weeks apart to give you time to work at home on the section following each class. Techniques covered will be casting on in the round using the magic loop method, making ribbing, making the heel flap and gusset, turning the heel, picking up stitches, and using the kitchener stitch to close the toe. Pick a sock weight yarn that you love (or two), and get ready to have some fun!
