The Heartland Yarn Adventure

The Heartland Yarn Adventure is a yearly shop hop from Friday, July 24 - Sunday August 2, 2026, that spans all of Ohio, and parts of Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky.  We'd love to meet you during the tour!

Stop into our treasure trove of yarn, fiber, fabric, notions, gifts and more.  From our locally sourced wool, naturally dyed yarns, and handmade tools,  you're sure to find something unique to delight you!  

Browse our original knitting and crochet designs and kits.  Take home a handmade yarn bowl, project bag, or stitch marker set.  Get your HYA passport stamped and some fun giveaways just for showing up!

 
How the Heartland Yarn Adventure works:
The more shops you visit ? the more stamps you get in your passport = more chances to win prizes!

There are over 80 shops on the tour.   Pick an area to explore, and discover some new shops.  Note that it's not expected that you to try to visit all of them (unless you want to!)

Shop Events during the tour:
We will be hosting a Factory Girl hand dyed yarn trunk show throughout the event.  This particular color collection is called Sun-Warmed Linen and Light.  Capturing the quiet ease of golden afternoons and open windows.  Each skein is a breath of sunlight; soft, airy, and grounded coming together in a palette of sand, sea glass, and sun-tea gold, inviting makers to slow down and make at their own pace.  This collection celebrates the warmth of simple pleasures and the glow of hand-touched craft.

Knit Night is Friday, July 24 from 4-8pm.  Come hang out and meet some new friends!
