A double-brimmed hat knitted with a fingering weight held double with a lace weight mohair.
Materials:

Brediculous Hand Dyed Yarn Mohair Lace in Pistachio, 1 skein

US 2 circular needle, 16” (we recommend ChiaoGoo Lace interchangeables)

Abbreviations:
sts - Stitches
K – Knit
P – purl
K2tog – Knit two stitches together
Brim:
Cast on 120 sts using US 2 circular needle on waste yarn using preferred cast on method. Join in the round being careful not to twist. Holding both yarns together work in K1, P1 ribbing until the brim measures 5” or the desired length.
Body:
Carefully remove the waste yarn and transfer stitches to a spare needle. Folding the fabric in half, K2tog using one stitch from each needle until all stitches have been transferred to one needle. Continue knitting with both strands of yarn held together until the piece measures 7” from folded edge, or until it has reached the desired length.
Crown:
Row 1: *K10, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (110 sts remaining)
Row 2 &3: Knit across
Row 4: *K9, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (100 sts)
Row 5 & 6: Knit across
Row 7: *K8, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (90 sts)
Row 8 and even numbered rows: Knit across
Row 9: *K7, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (80 sts)
Row 11: *K6, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (70 sts)
Row 13: *K5, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (60 sts)
Row 15: *K4, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (50 sts)
Row 17: *K3, K2tog* Repeat until end of round (40 sts)
Row 19: K2tog until end of round (20 sts)
Row 20: K2tog until end of round (10 sts)
Finishing:
Cut yarn leaving a 10” tail. Thread tail on tapestry needle and draw through remaining sts, pulling tight like a drawstring. Weave in ends and you are finished!
