Crochet 101 Video - How to Tension Your Yarn

When learning to crochet, the most mystifying part can be how to just hold the hook and the yarn!  The yarn needs to have constant tension so that the hook has something to grab.  This is how we make stitches.

I'm going to really break it down for you in this video so you can follow along and do it just like I do.  With some patience and practice, you can train your hands to set up your yarn like this automatically!

It might seem overwhelming at first, but training your hands to hold the yarn like this now will really pay off in the end, when you're enjoying effortless hours of crocheting.

Hope you enjoy, and this helps you find the best way to hold the crochet for you.
