Want to learn to sew? This pillowcase is a great project to take you through all the basics. In this class, we will cover cutting fabric and working on a sewing machine. You'll learn how to thread the machine and all its functions. Watch the magic of the "burrito technique" unfold to make all the inside seams look neat and professional. Pick three fabrics you love and start making the handmade home of your dreams. This is an easy beginner's class and you'll walk away feeling more confident in machine sewing! Kids and adults are both welcome. If you have a machine, bring yours. If you don't, just bring yourself and work on one of our machines.

Learn to make an apron from toweling fabric! Your apron will be complete with pockets and an adjustable strap, ready for you to cook, paint, or get into another messy project. Handmade aprons also make a great gift. This class is for someone who is familiar with the very basics of sewing and has used a machine before. This class is intended for kids (around 8 and up), but adults who want to learn some sewing skills are also welcome to sign up.

Kids and adults with some basic sewing knowledge are welcome to attend our Popcorn Pouch bag! Learn to sew from a pattern, install a zipper, and use bias tape. A great skill builder for someone who has used a sewing machine before and wants to learn some new techniques.

Learn to sew and make a tote bag! We'll go over cutting fabric, using an iron for sewing, following a written sewing pattern, and using a sewing machine. You'll learn the basic functions of the machine and how to thread it. Pick your choice of two fabrics to make a handmade tote that you can show off to the world. After this class you'll have the building blocks needed to take on more projects. Bring a machine if you have one, or use one of our classroom models.
